Cinq is our fifth offering in the Terroir series, showcasing the local terroir of the Santa Ynez Valley AVA. Graciano grapes from Area 51 Vineyard, 10 miles from the brewery, were initially fermented through the process of Carbonic Maceration and then pressed. The resulting juice was blended with hybrid base wort. It then matured in 100% French oak barrels before being bottled. The final beer is soft, mildly tannic, with an intense fruity, floral aroma accentuated with oaky vanilla and sweet spices.
